The Power of Personality  – Presenter: Merrick Rosenberg, Founder, Take Flight Learning and Team Builders Plus

Understanding and managing personalities at camp will strengthen your camp community by enabling campers to get along better, preparing counselors and staff to understand how to work more effectively together, and creating a great environment for everyone. Through Merrick’s method of linking personality to Eagles, Parrots, Doves and Owls, you will see yourself in his stories and will learn how to apply the personality styles to build stronger relationships, manage conflict, heighten camper involvement, and operate a more impactful and effective camp

  • Create Raving Fans: Practical Tips to Deliver World-Class Customer Service – Roz & Jed Buck – Making your customers raving fans can propel your business to new heights.  This workshop will review the importance of super-serving customers and provide a series of practical actions and real-world examples that every staff member can easily use to consistently deliver world-class customer service

  • Creating Your Day Camp Culture – Roz & Jed Buck – Every company has a culture, and according to Warren Buffett, “You cannot pay too much attention to company culture.”  With the fast pace of camp life, we often ignore our culture as we focus on our strategy and execution.  This hands-on, highly interactive session will explore the importance of your camp’s culture and how you can grow your culture (if you like it) or change and develop it (if you don’t like it).
